Tips for Oily Skinned Beauties

Hello, all Lazy Crazies !!
Hope all of you are doing good. So as for today's post ..Who ever said that "Beauty comes in all sizes" forget to say they come in all skin types. and have set of their own problems and benefits.
I was hearing a lot of beauties complaining about their oily skin problems. so decided to find ways to help them. As I myself has combination skin. I can understand their problem. So let's start.

So what is Oilskin
Oily skin (seborrhea) is caused by excess skin oil (sebum). During puberty, increased androgen levels, which are male hormones present in both males and females, signal the oil glands of the skin to mature. At this time the body begins producing much more skin oil. Often a chronically oily skin has coarse pores and pimples and other embarrassing blemishes. It is prone to blackheads. In this type of skin, the oil producing sebaceous glands are overactive and produce more oil than is needed. The oil oozes and gives the skin a greasy shine. The pores are enlarged and the skin has a coarse look.

The great advantage of oily skin is that it ages at a slower rate than other skin types and develop fewer wrinkles than dry or normal skin. So, it’s not all bad.

Care for Oily Skin
Use a gentle facial cleanser twice a day
Most dermatologists agree that cleansing the skin is the best way to reduce oil. Make sure to use a gentle, pH balanced cleanser rather than regular soap. Most soaps are highly alkaline and strip the natural acid mantle from the skin leaving it vulnerable to bacteria.
  • Products containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or beta-hydroxy acid are often considered best. These are slightly acidic, however, so start off with only a small amount to make sure your skin doesn't have an adverse reaction.
  • When washing your face, make sure you use warm water, not hot. Hot water can further irritate the skin.
Don’t forget the 3 step skin ritual:

Cleanse: Milk is the best natural cleanser or you can use your choice of cleanser.
Tone: Rose water can be used as a toner or make sure you are using an alcohol-free toner
Moisturize: This is a big confusion while choosing the moisturizer for the face ..choose the one that’s best, Even oily skin can be dehydrated and requires moisturizer to stay healthy. Make sure to use a light, oil-free moisturizer.

Steam: Either you are using traditional method or using a machine for steam add a few drops of lavender oil/tea tree oil as both fight bacteria and infections help you in fighting that monster pimple and also helps to unclog the pores.
Scrub: Use homemade scrubs like orange peel powder or lemon + olive oil+sugar or oats+curd or any scrub of your choice.

Other things to follow:

  • Wash your face with normal water
  • Use blotting papers: This is a quick, effective solution to soak up excess oil. They won't cut down on your skin's oil production though, so this treatment should be paired with a cleansing regimen for the best results.
  • Stop using heavy cosmetics: These products can clog your pores, which will trap oil and dirt in the skin and make acne symptoms worse
  • Change any towels or cotton pads you use on your face every day: Oil, dirt, and bacteria get trapped on these products and you can then spread them all over your face. So make sure you wash your towels or napkins in warm water to keep them clean ..and by doing this you can also prevent acne or pimples
Don't do these Don'ts
Avoid harsh soaps and creams. Any products containing alcohol or other harsh chemicals can irritate your face. This irritation could lead to more oil production and make the problem worse
Avoid over-washing your face. Though you may think that the more you wash your face the better, this is not the case. Like with harsh chemicals, excessive washing will lead to irritation and can make your symptoms worse. You should wash your face no more than two times daily.

Simple Veg Fusion Rice

Everyone has their personal comfort food, a particular food or beverage that makes them forget their long day of work, sadness and feels like a tight hug from their beloved person for me fried rice and ice creams are the things that can get me through any stress.

So today I'm going to present you a veggie filled fusion rice that is so good and satiable to your palette if you like Indian spices and masalas.
Why this is called fusion? because I made it my style and its a mix between Indian pulao and fried rice.

As I'm on so-called "diet" I prepared it in less quantity the below-mentioned measurements will be sufficient for one. Now let's begin the preparation
